The municipality of Serfaus commissioned this children’s history book to celebrate its 800th anniversary. I digitally illustrated all the illustrations in the non-fiction book.
The first finds of settlements in today’s municipal area go back to the Bronze Age. In the individual chapters of the book, the milestones in history are dealt with in a way that is suitable for children. The illustrations are of course particularly important in a children’s history book for comprehensibility. I paid special attention to natural colors and cheerful figures.
As part of the 800th anniversary, there was also an official book presentation in Serfaus, where the children of the elementary school got an insight into the profession of an illustrator. I also had the pleasure to draw a medieval castle with the children.
