Colourful chickens
One hen for every apartment
This was such an exciting project in which I illustrated 13 different hens. The illustrations were created for a holiday accommodation specialising in farm holidays. The property offers 13 apartments – each is assigned a hen.
I went for a child-friendly, stylized style and used earthy, bright colours to convey the rustic charm of a farm. It was particularly important to me that each hen had her own personality to ensure that the guests of the holiday home could connect with each apartment and each hen.
Another special feature of the project is that the guests even have their own hen that they can take care of during their stay. In the summer, guests can visit their own hen in the barn every morning and pick up their breakfast egg.
