CD cover illustrations “13- (UN) GLÜCK”
Carinthian Youth Choir

It was a pleasure to design the first studio CD of the Carinthian Youth Choir! The CD is about the topic “13- (UN) GLÜCK” wich means “(BAD) LUCK” and so my illustrations were based around this theme. Finally, the shamrock and the black cat made it into the cover (see process).

All illustrations are hand painted with watercolor and ink and optimized with Photoshop for printing.

Incidentally, with a selection of this program, the Carinthian Youth Choir reached the Grand Prix victory of the international choir competition “Cracovia Cantans” in Krakow / Poland in June 2018, thus qualifying for the “World Choral Championship” 2019 in Tokyo / Japan.
